This is an original acrylic painting of a sunflower. The original comes framed and ready to hang. The frame is dark wood, almost black and accents the painting nicely. This piece is part of a series of flower paintings I did this past summer.
About Sarah Grangier
Sarah Watson Grangier is a professional wildlife artist who graduated from Salisbury University with honors and a Bachelor's Degree in Art, in May 2003. Some of her artistic honors include 2nd place in the National Juried Exhibition "Light and Shadow," at the Fredericksburg (VA) Center for the Creative Arts, in November 2012, Best of Show in the Ward World Wildlife Painting Competition in 2003, and Artist of the Year for Pocomoke River, MD Chapter Ducks Unlimited in 2007. Some recent major accomplishments include illustrating two books. First, a cookbook by Bill Kendle titled, "Healthy Eating Made Easy," and second, "Bob the Big Bad Bluefish," a fantastic children's book by Bernadette Gesser.
