About Sarah Grangier

Sarah Grangier Sarah W. Grangier is a professional wildlife artist who graduated from Salisbury University with honors and a Bachelor’s Degree in Art, in May 2003. Some of her artistic honors include 2nd place in the National Juried Exhibition "Light and Shadow," at the Fredericksburg (VA) Center for the Creative Arts, in November 2012, Best of Show in the Ward World Wildlife Painting Competition in 2003, and Artist of the Year for Pocomoke River, MD Chapter Ducks Unlimited in 2007. Some recent major accomplishments include illustrating two books. First, a cookbook by Bill Kendle titled, "Healthy Eating Made Easy," and second, "Bob the Big Bad Bluefish," a fantastic children's book by Bernadette Gesser.

Sarah has exhibited artwork at ArtsFest at Annmarie Gardens in Solomons Island, MD, Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival, DE, Delmarva Discovery Museum in Pocomoke, MD, the Chincoteague National Wildlife Visitor Center in VA as a featured artist, the Maryland State House in Annapolis, the National Postal Museum in Washington DC, and at the Patuxent National Wildlife Research Visitor Center, MD, where, in 2005, she was Artist of the Month for November and December. The Somerset County Arts Council sponsored Sarah’s solo exhibition at Patuxent as well. She also taught adult painting classes at the Somerset County Arts Council.

Sarah is a member of the Somerset County Arts Council, the Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council, the Academy Art Museum of Easton, MD, and the Art Institute and Gallery in Salisbury, MD.

Currently, Sarah has artwork on display in the Flying Fish Gallery in Chincoteague Island, VA, in the Delmarva Discovery Museum in Pocomoke, MD, Laytons Chance Vineyard and Winery in Vienna, MD, and as of MARCH 1, 2014: Sarah's work is now available in Berlin, MD at Uptown Antiques and also her designs can be purchased on many products through her NEW site at www.cafepress.com/ sarahwgrangierfineart
